Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – Ginger is a gorgeous 12-year-old ginger cat looking for a home to retire to in Kamloops.

Ginger is a very sweet and loving cat, even more so with a little catnip, according to Kamloops SPCA animal care attendant Lyndsay Stewart. She loves to be petted and will make a wonderful companion.

Ginger recently had dental surgery and is recovering, Stewart says. A good quality diet is important, as she has had urinary issues in the past. Good food will help prevent any issues and keep Ginger happy and healthy, and in turn, you will have a wonderful addition to your home.

Stewart says a behaviour counselling session with the shelter's adoption staff is necessary before adopting any animal.

For more information about Ginger contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. Her animal ID number is 456043.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
