Kelowna RCMP on the hunt for thief

KELOWNA – RCMP are looking for a 32-year-old Kelowna man they say is wanted for possession of a weapon and multiple counts of theft.

Christopher Maynard has a criminal record in Kelowna and West Kelowna going back to 2006. He was convicted of theft under $5,000 in 2008 and has been charged with fraud and breaches of release conditions.

A media release from Kelowna RCMP says Maynard should not be approached but anyone who sees him should call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Maynard is described at a Caucasian male, 6’1" and approximately 180 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.
