TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (13,581.39 down 6.59 points):

Colossus Minerals Inc. (TSX:CSI). Miner. Up 1.5 cents, or 18.75 per cent, at 9.5 cents on 12.09 million shares.

Antrim Energy Inc. (TSX:AEN). Oil and gas. Unchanged at 6.5 cents on 4.8 million shares.

Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TSX:TRQ.RT). Miner. Down two cents, or 2.06 per cent, at 95 cents on 3.02 million shares.

Eastern Platinum Ltd. (TSX:ELR). Miner. Up one cent, or 14.29 per cent, at eight cents on 2.76 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Plane and train maker. Down six cents, or 1.29 per cent, at $4.64 on 2.02 million shares. The stock declined despite an announcement by the Montreal-based company of a firm order for 10 Challenger 350 business jets worth US$259 million at list price.

Toronto Venture Exchange (921.24 up 2.21 points):

Lomiko Metals Inc. (TSXV:LMR). Miner. Up 3.5 cents, or 30.43 per cent, at 15 cents on 6.56 million shares.

Berkwood Resources Ltd. (TSXV:BKR). Miner. Up 3.5 cents, or 233.33 per cent, at five cents on 4.78 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

TransForce Inc. (TSX:TFI). Up 20 cents, or 0.80 per cent, at $25.11 on 256,047 shares. The Montreal-based company has come out the winner in a two-way bidding war for Vitran Corp. (TSX:VTN) (down 25 cents, or 3.51 per cent, to $6.88), another Canadian trucking and logistics company. Toronto-headquartered Vitran is now supporting TransForce’s offer of US$6.50 per share in cash for the stock it doesn’t already own. The deal is valued at US$136 million, including US$29 million of debt that will be assumed by TransForce.
