The cold weather is coming and the City of Kelowna will be closing most park washrooms and water fountains, including water services at off-leash dog parks, for the winter as of Tuesday, October 15.
These closures are necessary to prevent pipes from freezing throughout the cold winter months. However, washrooms at City Park, Stuart Park and Gerstmar Park will remain open year round. All washrooms and water fountains will be open early April, weather permitting.
