LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Authorities say they’re investigating two traffic collisions allegedly caused by U.S. Commerce Secretary John Bryson that left him injured.
A joint statement early Monday from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department and the San Gabriel Police Department says the crashes occurred Saturday evening.
Authorities say Bryson was driving alone on a major street in San Gabriel when he allegedly struck the rear end of a vehicle occupied by three males that was stopped for a train.
Authorities say Bryson then allegedly caused a second collision minutes later in the nearby city of Rosemead, striking a car occupied by a man and a woman.
Bryson was found alone and unconscious in his car. Authorities say he was rushed to a local hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
