Al Montoya makes 34 saves as Winnipeg Jets rally for 3-1 victory over Chicago Blackhawks

CHICAGO – Al Montoya made 34 saves, Andrew Ladd scored his 150th goal and the Winnipeg Jets rallied to beat the slumping Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 on Sunday night.

Blake Wheeler had two third-period goals as Winnipeg won for the second straight day and improved to 6-1 under new coach Paul Maurice. They also averted a season sweep by the Blackhawks, who won each of the first three games between the teams.

Chicago dominated the first two periods of its last home game before the Olympic break, but still went on to its third three-game losing streak of the season. The Stanley Cup champions open a seven-game road trip Tuesday night in Calgary.
