US housing complex explosion causes heavy damage; no immediate report of injuries

EWING, N.J. – An explosion at a town house complex in New Jersey appears to have caused heavy damage.

Television footage shows damage to several units at the development in Ewing, outside the state capital of Trenton, and widely scattered debris.

Flames can be seen shooting up from the ground, apparently fed by a gas line.

A Ewing police dispatcher says he has no information yet on a cause or possible injuries.
