
Police looking for more information on homicide of seven-year-old Langley girl
LANGLEY – Homicide investigators in the Lower Mainland are asking for any information relating to the investigation into the homicide of a young Langley girl.
Seven-year-old Aaliyah Rosa was found deceased the evening of July 22, when police and emergency health services responded to a call for assistance at a home in the 20000-block of 68 Avenue in Langley.
A 36-year-old woman, who investigators believe was involved in the incident, is currently undergoing medical treatment, according to a news release by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team. Police say this was an isolated incident between people known to each other, and there's no risk to public safety.
"IHIT investigators are now looking to hear from anyone who may have seen Aaliyah in the Langley area on Sunday, July 22," Cpl. Frank Jang of IHIT says.
