Correction to June 18 story about Canadian Safety and Security Program

REGINA – The Canadian Press erroneously reported Monday that a new federal government program would co-ordinate responses to disasters and emergencies and be based in Regina.

In fact, the Canadian Safety and Security Program is intended to co-ordinate science and technology research into disaster response, and will be managed in Ottawa as part of Defence Research and Development Canada.
