Clinton offers few specifics about upcoming book, even less about possible run for president

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Hillary Rodham Clinton’s next book is scheduled for release later this year and remains a work in progress.

The former U.S. secretary of state offered few specifics during a keynote speech Wednesday at the annual gathering of the Association of American Publishers, a book industry trade group.

Clinton said even less about a possible run for president in 2016, beyond joking that stepping down as secretary of state last year did not end media speculation about her future.

As previously announced, the memoir will cover her time as secretary during the first term of the Obama administration. Clinton said Wednesday she is consulting with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and others as she continues to revise the book.

Neither a title nor an exact publication date has been announced.
