Marshall University marching band to perform in London
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University’s marching band will perform in the 2020 New Year’s Day Parade in London.
The university says in a news release the Marching Thunder was selected in part because of its performance at an event in Rome in 2016. The London trip will include several days of educational tours and sightseeing.
Marshall Director of Bands Adam Dalton says one of the favourite parts of his job is being able to offer new and different options to students. He calls the London trip a “once in a lifetime” opportunity.
