Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin announce separation after 11 years of marriage

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are separating after 11 years of marriage.

A message posed on the 41-year-old actress’s blog Tuesday says the couple have “come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate.”

Paltrow and the 37-year-old musician married in 2003. They have two children: 9-year-old daughter Apple and 7-year-old son Moses.

A spokeswoman for the Coldplay frontman confirmed the split.

The message announcing the couple’s separation on GOOP.com was signed by the “Iron Man” actress and the singer-songwriter.
