OTTAWA – Federal MPs continue debate on the government’s latest budget bill in Parliament today.
It’s another omnibus bill which has drawn the anger of opposition MPs for bundling together a number of measures they say have nothing to do with the budget.
Statistics Canada, meanwhile, will be releasing unemployment figures for March.
In February, the unemployment rate was 7.0 per cent.
The Humura Association is scheduled to hold a news conference on Parliament Hill to announce a number of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide.
The association was founded in Ottawa by survivors of the genocide.
