U.S. hedge fund asks telecom Telus to disclose foreign ownership levels

VANCOUVER – U.S. hedge fund Mason Capital Management asks Telus Corp. (TSX:T) to address uncertainty that has been raised regarding its compliance with foreign ownership rules. Telus says it’s compliant with the restrictions, which were questioned recently by small Canadian telecom company Globaliave.
