Sunny skies for first part of the week in the Okanagan
OKANAGAN – The Okanagan can look forward to more great fall weather this week.
Environment Canada meteorologist Bobby Sekhon says sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-teens should prevail through Wednesday, Oct. 24, before any chance of rain. There may be some morning fog patches that should dissipate by noon.
On Wednesday, however, the ridge of high pressure is expected to weaken bringing a 30 per cent chance of showers. A 60 per cent chance of showers is forecast for Thursday with highs around 13 Celsius both days.
A mix of sun and cloud is expected Friday with a high of 11 C.
Daytime highs continue to be a degree or two above the normal for this time of year.
