PHILADELPHIA – In a story Oct. 25, The Associated Press reported that the indictment of two consultants involved in Democratic U.S. Rep. Bob Brady’s 2012 re-election campaign included charges of conspiracy and lying to the FBI. The story should have made clear that a charge of making false statements to FBI agents was brought only against consultant Donald Jones. Co-defendant Kenneth Smukler is not charged with that crime.
