RCMP in B.C. issue arrest warrant for man wanted on child porn charges
PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – RCMP in Prince George, B.C., have issued an arrest warrant for a 49-year-old man wanted on child pornography charges.
Joseph Sackaney failed to show up for court on April 30, and police believe he may be in the Kamloops area.
Sackaney is described as a heavy-set First Nations man and is formerly from Ontario.
He is suspected of accessing and possessing child porn for the purpose of distribution.
Police say the charges stem from a search warrant issued at a Prince George home last October.
Mounties are calling on anyone who may have information on Sackaney to call them.
