NovaGold reports second-quarter profit on Ambler spinoff to NovaCopper

VANCOUVER – NovaGold Resources Inc. (TSX:NG) said Thursday it earned a second-quarter profit of $94.2 million or 26 cents per diluted share as it spun off its Ambler project in Alaska to a new company called NovaCopper (TSX:NCQ).
