Jury hears weapons, blood found in the B.C. apartment of accused killer
PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Jurors hearing evidence during a first-degree murder trial in Prince George, B.C., have now seen photos of the accused serial killer’s apartment.
Cody Legebokoff is charged with the murders of 35-year-olds Jill Stuchenko and Cynthia Maas, 23-year-old Natasha Montgomery, and 15-year-old Loren Leslie.
Jurors saw a photo on Tuesday of Legebokoff’s master bedroom, which showed a picaroon leaning against a wall next to a nightstand.
The Crown is alleging blood from Maas was found on the long pole that’s fitted with a spike and used for logging or fishing.
RCMP Cpl. Kimberly Tremblay also showed jurors photos of where blood stains were found on a sweatshirt, pillow case, bed sheet, door frames and mouldings.
Tremblay also says investigators used a special chemical and uncovered a blood stain on the floor with what turned out to be Legebokoff’s heel print in the middle.(Prince George Citizen)
