NEW YORK, N.Y. – Two uptown New York City museums are teaming up this summer to attract more visitors with some cool outdoor activities.
The Museum of the City of New York and El Museo del Barrio are partnering for the first time with “Uptown Bounce: Summer Nights @ 104th and Fifth.”
The series will feature music, gallery talks, art-making workshops, break dancing demonstrations, food vendors and more.
They will be held on the museums’ front terraces from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays on July 30, Aug. 6 and Aug. 13.
The institutions are next door to each other along what’s known as Museum Mile.
Admission to the museums will be free and hours will be extended on the three nights.
