Man seriously injured in stabbing incident near Caribbean Carnival parade

TORONTO – A man is in serious condition in hospital after being stabbed near the Caribbean Carnival parade route in Toronto.

It happened around seven o’clock Saturday evening (near Lakeshore Blvd and Dowling Ave).

Police say the victim, a Toronto-area resident, was stabbed twice in the chest during an altercation.

They also say a person of interest is in custody.

No other details have been released, however it’s reported the violence panicked people in the area, sending them running.
