Swoop to offer direct flights from Kelowna to Vegas
KELOWNA – Las Vegas and Kelowna will be closer than ever this summer as a low-cost airline opens a new service between the two locations.
Swoop, established in 2018, announced a new service between Kelowna and Las Vegas starting on June 27. The direct, non-stop flights will be available twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays from the Kelowna International Airport to the McCarran International Airport in Vegas. The service will last through to Oct. 26.
"We're pleased to have Swoop offer non-stop service to Las Vegas, which is the Okanagan's single largest U.S. market for travel," said Sam Samaddar, Kelowna airport director, in a press release.
Swoop will start its service in Kelowna on May 24 by offering direct flights to Winnipeg three days a week.
