KAMLOOPS — Yoga is a healthy practice that can be done by people of all ages to help reduce swelling in joints, increase mobility and improve balance.

The City of Kamloops is offering an inclusive yoga class that uses chairs and modified poses to improve mobility and flexibility called Gentle Chair Yoga.

The program has 12 sessions starting tomorrow, April 3. The one-hour sessions take place every Wednesday at the Hal Rogers Activity Centre until June 5.

The program description posted to the city's website says each class concludes with a guided relaxation.
