Disgruntled ‘Game of Thrones’ fans petition for remake of final season

Disgruntled Game of Thrones fans want to see the eighth and final season of the HBO series torched by fire-breathing dragons — or just re-done.

A Change.org petition by a user named Dylan D from Fort Worth has that the final season be remade with competent writers.

“David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on,” said the petitioner.

“This series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!”

The petition, started last Sunday, May 12, shows how strongly a vocal section of fans want to say “Dracarys” to the whole season.
