Suspect arrested after robbery in Salmon Arm

KAMLOOPS – A woman has been arrested following a hold up at a business in Salmon Arm last week.

A woman entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded money on Thursday, June 6, according to an RCMP media release. A hold up alarm alerted the RCMP of the incident a 10:36 p.m. RCMP don't identify the store.

After fleeing the scene on foot, she returned home, dropped off some of the stolen goods and changed, police say.

Police say the suspect was known to the staff of the store.
