LOGAN LAKE – The Logan Lake Health Centre emergency department will once again close for a day because they won't have enough doctors.
The temorary closure takes place Friday, Nov. 29. Normal operations are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to noon. The rest of the health centre will remain open with other services available as usual.
In the event of an emergency Friday, dial 911. For non-urgent matters, residents can use the emergency department or walk-in clinics in Kamloops and Merritt. If unsure whether services are required, call HealthLink B.C. at 811. The toll-free line provide 24-hour, confidential health information and advice from a registered nurse.
