Summerland rockslide slows traffic on Highway 97

SUMMERLAND – A rockslide slowed traffic near Summerland today.

According to DriveBC, there was a rockslide on the southbound lane of Highway 97 on July 7 about two kilometres north of Summerland. The right lane had to be closed, although traffic remained open both ways.

Roadside workers continue to monitor the slope where the rockslide occured.
