Alison Krauss, Baez to perform at Emmylou Harris tribute show in January in Washington, DC

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Alison Krauss is set to pay tribute to Emmylou Harris at a concert in January.

“The Life & Songs of Emmylou Harris: An All-Star Concert Celebration” will take place Jan. 10 at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.

Krauss and Conor Oberst are the latest acts added to the top-billing lineup, which includes Kris Kristofferson, Joan Baez, Sheryl Crow, Lucinda Williams and Mavis Staples.

The 67-year-old Harris also will take the stage.

Other performers include Mary Chapin Carpenter, Martina McBride, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Rodney Crowell and others.

Don Was and Buddy Miller will work as music directors. The concert will be taped and air at a later date.
