TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:
Toronto Stock Exchange (14,392.70, down 360.95 points):
Mega Uranium Ltd. (TSX:MGA). Down 2.5 cents, or 18.52 per cent, to 11 cents on 9.7 million shares.
Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Down 12 cents, or 1.31 per cent, to $9.07 on 7.7 million shares.
Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Down $1.40, or 13.55 per cent, to $8.93 on 5.5 million shares.
Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down $1.63, or 4.36 per cent, to $35.72 on 5.2 million shares.
Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Down 22 cents, or 8.87 per cent, to $2.26 on 4.8 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Down nine cents, or 2.14 per cent, to $4.11 on 4.3 million shares.

Silver Wheaton Corp. (TSX:SLW). Miner. Up 29 cents, or 1.18 per cent, to $24.82 on 1.2 million shares. The company has agreed to give Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX)(Miner. Down five cents, or 0.39 per cent, to $12.81 on 2.8 million shares) an additional 2 1/2 years to meet a production milestone at the stalled Pascua-Lama mining project in South America. Under the agreement, Silver Wheaton paid about US$625 million in cash in return for rights to silver produced by Barrick either at Pascua-Lama on the Chile-Argentina border or its other mines.
