Highlights of December 16 Kelowna city council meeting
Parade float
Council received a report about the Kelowna “Spirit of the Lake” parade float and its activities over the past year. Kelowna’s float was in 22 parades and won 13 awards.
Hospital area development
Council directed staff to start Phase 1 of Hospital Transition Area Planning, which will proactively guide future development of the area surrounding Kelowna General Hospital. Phase 1 will involve engagement of property owners and residents in the area to help inform creation of the development guidelines.
