Recruitment underway for hundreds of call centre jobs with Rogers in Kelowna

As Rogers Communications gears up for this summer’s opening of its Kelowna call centre, it is holding two information sessions this week.

The company plans to start hiring in April and May for its Customer Solutions Centre in the Landmark District.

The call centre will open with 350 workers with plans to grow to 500.

“We want to introduce them to what Rogers is about, let people ask questions about the company and ask about what roles we’re looking to fill,” Lisa Rossington, manager, regional public affairs (West) for Rogers, told iNFOnews.ca. No hiring will be done during the information sessions.

The first information session is Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Okanagan College Business Expo and Employment Fair at Okanagan College from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The second session is in conjunction with Work B.C. at the Capri Centre shopping centre from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Feb. 6.
