A Kelowna-based company known for its compostable cellphone cases surprised a handful of customers shopping at a local Nature’s Fare recently.
In a YouTube video uploaded by Pela Earth today, Feb. 13, an undercover employee surprises customers who brought their own reusable bags to the register to pay for their groceries.
The event was filmed at the Nature's Fare in Kelowna's Orchard Plaza, according to Pela.

“It’s pretty obvious by now, but we love the planet and wanted to reward people who brought their own bags instead of plastic ones,” the description on the video says.
The reactions were all filmed by a hidden camera.
