Man arrested in armed bank heist
KELOWNA – An armed bank robbery on Harvey Avenue Sunday afternoon ended with an arrest.
Police responded to the call at 3:19 p.m. An armed man entered the 1950 Harvey Avenue TD branch and demanded cash.
The undisclosed weapon was not used and the man left with the money.
A suspect was arrested in the early morning hours January 6 and remains in custody.
He has not appeared in court yet.
The investigation continues.
