UPDATE: Highway 1 reopens east of Golden after rockslide
The Trans-Canada Highway east of Golden has completely opened after a rockslide caused the road's closure and traffic delays.
According to Drive BC, a rockslide in Kicking Horse Canyon caused the highway to close in both directions.
There were intermittent openings on Sunday but today, March 2, all the debris had been cleared and the highway was completely reopened to traffic.
