Crews are fighting an out of control wildfire north of Chase that has grown to two hectares in size this afternoon.
The blaze is burning west of Highway 1, about three kilometres north of Chase, today, April 7, and is highly visible from the community.
Currently, seven B.C. Wildfire personnel are on scene and are being assisted by firefighters from the Adams Lake Fire Department.
Fire information officer Taylor MacDonald says it is suspected the fire is human caused.
