Car trailer containing collector’s truck towed by thieves

It's unknown if thieves of a metal car trailer knew they were stealing a 1934 Ford pick-up truck and thousands of dollars worth of hotrod parts.

"They may—or may not—have known what was inside," said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.
The Ford and trailer were stolen from an auto restoration business in the 8400 block of Silver Star Road in Vernon and belonged to a customer who wanted to have the truck restored.
The items inside the trailer are valued at about $70,000. The trailer itself also possessed monetary value, and Molendyk said thefts of car trailers are quite common.
The trailer was grey/silver and sported the following BC license plate: 82463C when it was stolen from the property sometime between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The owner of the property reported the theft on the evening of November 18.
RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding the trailer, or the theft, to contact Crime Stoppers.
