Police investigate early morning fight and reports of shots fired in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. – Police say officers responded to a group of men fighting near Walmsley Ave. in Abbotsford just before 2 a.m. on Sunday and soon received reports of gun shots fired in the area.

They believe no one was shot, but one man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police say several people were detained but later released.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
