YouTube video featuring West Kelowna wedding destination amasses more than 4.6 million views

A music video featuring a West Kelowna garden has gone viral, amassing more than 4 million views since its publication in August.

Bandmates and brothers of Music Travel Love, Bob and Clint Moffatt, formerly members of the Canadian 90s band The Moffatts, released the music video to accompany their romantic hit The Only One. The video features Sanctuary Gardens Wedding Chapel in West Kelowna.

Kirstin Wakal, owner of the gardens, said she enjoyed their music and started following them through social media and that’s how they originally connected.

“It was really spontaneous, I found them on Facebook and noticed they were travelling around,” she said.

After reaching out to them asking if they’d like to stop by and sing, she received a reply and sure enough, the duo showed up.

“I love that people are seeing the valley,” she said, adding that locals tend not to know as much about her wedding venue as she gets more out-of-town destination wedding requests.

She isn’t sure if that has to do with the video, however.

The video currently has 4.6 million views on YouTube.
