Kelowna police looking for man suspected of ‘unwanted advances’ on young woman
Police and Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers are hoping you can identify a man who unnerved a young woman earlier this week.
Kelowna RCMP haven't specified if a crime was committed, calling him a person of interest, but said three young women were riding scooters downtown July 14, just after 3 p.m. when they encountered the man, according to crime stoppers.
"Officers received reports that a man made unwanted advances towards a young woman on a scooter," according to a recent Crime Stoppers report. "RCMP would like to identify this person of interest or have any other possible witnesses come forward to help with the investigation."
If you know any information regarding these crimes, call Crime Stoppers at its anonymous tip line at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visit the Crime Stoppers website.
