Car club cruising Kamloops neighbourhoods this weekend
Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic many car shows were cancelled for this summer. However, this weekend a Kamloops car club is bringing the show to you, and you're free to join in too.
Kamloops Car Scene is hosting a Summer Cruise on Aug. 8 and the parade of cars will be passing through certain neighbourhoods in the city, according to a post on the group's Facebook page.
Anyone can join the convoy, so there's no limit to what you might see — all years, makes, models and motor bikes are welcome.
The cruise will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Westsyde Shopping Centre.
The cars will pass through the North Shore to the airport before looping back and crossing the Overlanders bridge onto Victoria Street. They will pass through Valleyview and up into Sahali, then Aberdeen.
The cruise will return to pass over the bridge again, ending in the parking lot of Norbrock Stadium on MacArthur Island.
The event is expected to take no more than two hours total.
