Professional Buller Riders were back in Kelowna again this year for the 2026 PBR Okanagan Challenge at Prospera Place. With over 25 competitors, the event was packed full of fans cheering on some of their favourite Canadian and International riders.
Dakota Buttar, a two-time Canada champion, was successful in winning the Okanagan Challenge last night with 2 successful ride scores of 85.4 and 88.2. Dakota currently sits in third place on the PBR Canada national standings. This victory marked Dakota’s first event win of the 2026 season.

Nick Tetz, who is also a two-time Canada champion, currently holds first place in the national standings and placed fourth at the Okanagan Challenge with only one successful ride of 85.3.
Currently in second place in the national standings is Gilmar Santana, of Ouro Preto, Brazil. Gilmar is one of 3 Brazilian competitors this season and managed to get one successful ride score of 83.7, coming fifth in the Okanagan Challenge.
The season comes to an end with the 2026 Command Tubular PBR Canada National Finals on November 13 and 14 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta.
