TRENDING NOW: Cheeky Fortnite ad takes run at Apple’s classic 1984 commercial

A battle has erupted between Apple and the hugely popular game Fortnite after the developer began using a direct payment plan, bypassing the app store which takes a 30 per cent cut of in-app purchases.

The ad posted to YouTube is a cheeky take on the classic Orwellian "1984" Super Bowl commercial that introduced the Apple Macintosh personal computer.
