PENTICTON – A Westminster motel room raid on Wednesday resulted in two men being busted for possessing controlled substances and the discovery of three young children living there.
RCMP Drug Task Force members executed a search warrant and netted a man, 29, charged with possession of heroin and Levi Darrin Savard, 22, charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Savard was put into custody while the unidentified man was released to appear in court on March 26.
As for the three young children they had been living in the room where the search warrant was executed. They were allowed to leave with their mother and the Ministry of Children and Family Development was notified.
