Great turnout for crisp and cold Winter Carnival Parade

VERNON – Despite the minus temperature, hundreds of people lined the streets in downtown Vernon Saturday for the annual Vernon Winter Carnival Parade. At least it was sunny.

The theme this year is Carnival of Superheroes.

The parade kicks off the ten day event, which is a sure cure for the winter blahs.
