Country band Old Dominion stopping in Kelowna on world tour

Country music icon Old Dominion has added Kelowna to the third leg of their world tour this spring.

The band is playing at Prospera Place on May 4 and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 19, according to a release from GSL Group.

The show is part of the Canadian leg of the How good Is That – World Tour with other B.C. stops in Victoria and Vancouver.

The group is known for hits like One Man Band and Hotel Key. Old Dominion’s latest album Barbara is going to be front and centre for fans who show up for the How Good Is That tour.

“We have had the time of our lives playing the hits and introducing Barbara across America this year,” frontman Matthew Ramsey said in the release. “Now it’s time to visit our friends abroad again. We can’t wait to get back to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada to connect with the international Odies.”

Old Dominion has won several country music awards from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music and CMT.
