Looking for some Halloween fun in the Thompson-Okanagan region? We’ve got you covered.
KELOWNA
- Nightmare at Hillcrest – Stop by the Hillcrest Bed & Breakfast on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 – 2 for Kelowna’s biggest haunted house. It runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and tickets are $15 each for adults. Family friendly hours are 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. with discounted ticket prices.
- “Monster” Live Play – This one-person play is back by popular demand on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at The Film Factory. Tickets are $40 each.
- Halloween at Chances Kelowna – Try your luck on Oct. 31 at Chances Casino for quick draws. At each draw time, 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m., guests have the chance to win a goodie bag and $200 free play.
- Halloween Roast Battle – Local comedians will delight guests at Dakoda’s Pub and Grill on Oct. 31 from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $22 each.
- Tombstone Tours: Best of the Buried – Take an hour on Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to learn a bit of history and have a spooky experience at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. Tickets are $15.
VERNON
- Ghost Tours of Vernon | Late Nite Downtown Tour – On both Oct. 24 and 25, get a haunted tour of Vernon from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Meet at Justice Park to begin your tour. Tickets are $20 each.
- The Walk of Terror Spectacular – Get your steps in and be thrilled by fire spinning, fantastic Halloween costumes, and more at the Caravan Farm Theatre’s annual Walk of Terror. This year, the event is on Oct. 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $52 for adults.
- Field of Screams – The final days for this haunted corn maze full of fright are Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and 2. Ticket prices vary. You can find out more about what to expect by reading this article.
- Haunted Halloween – The Caetani House is opening its doors by donation on Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those same hours are when they’ll be welcoming trick or treaters as well.
- Halloween Howl IV – Bring your scariest costume to the Army Navy & Airforce Building at 2500 46th Avenue for a spooky evening of music on Nov. 1. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $30.
PENTICTON
- Howl-oween Party – On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, stop by Howling Bluff Winery while wearing your best costumes for a free tasting and for a chance to win a prize. On Halloween Day, the party is all day long. On Nov. 1, it runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Nightmare on Front Street – A family friendly street party will be taking over 75 Front Street in Downtown Penticton on Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Entry is free.
- Nightmare on Westminster Avenue – Spend your Halloween at Neighbourhood Brewing for an evening of spooky cocktails, ghoulish beer, and ghostly tacos. The event runs on Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
- Scary-oke Bash and Costume Contest – On Oct. 31 from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., stop by The Barley Mill for costume prizes, drink specials, karaoke, dancing, and more. There is no cover charge.
- Halloween Night Costume & Dance Party – Wear your best costume and enjoy music from DJ Punit Sharma at BNA Penticton on Oct. 31, starting at 10 p.m.
KAMLOOPS
- Stoney Flats Harvest Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze – The last day to enjoy this spooky pumpkin patch is Oct. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entry is free.
- Pete Murray’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze – Still missing a pumpkin for the season? The final day to grab yours is Oct. 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- A Time Travellers’ Ball – Spend your Halloween evening in different eras at St. Paul’s Cathedral for a gala full of music and incredible costumes from across time periods. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. Online tickets are $25 and tickets at the door are $30.
- Halloween Skaraoke – Pogue Mahone Irish Alehouse is hosting at a night of scary-good karaoke fun on Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Entry is free.
- Kamloops RIH Craft-a-Fair – Ready for the spooky season to be over? Jump straight into the holiday cheer on Nov. 2 at the Sandman Centre from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $2 per person.
