iN VIDEO: Snowshoers trek through magical winter wonderland at Cypress Mountain

This Vancouver ski hill has created a magical winter wonderland that brings the spirit of the holidays to life.

Cypress Mountain's Lights to the Lodge is a fully decorated snowshoe trail with different coloured LED lights strung from trees through the old growth forest, according to Cypress Mountain.

The easy one kilometre snowshoe trek leads to the historic Hollyburn Lodge, where guests can enjoy some hot chocolate by the fire.

Hollyburn Lodge is almost a century old, and is one one of the most popular winter destinations at Cypress Mountain.

Snowshoers have been taking the opportunity to snap some magical holiday photos, and the Lights to the Lodge trail serves as the perfect backdrop.

The trail is open daily from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. To buy tickets, which include snowshoe rental, click here.
