Woman in fatal accident near Chase identified

CHASE – A woman who died in an accident near Chase February 10, 2014 has been identified.
She was Carley Rosaline Kennedy, 27, of Mara, a small community near Shuswap.
Kennedy was the driver and sole occupant of a car involved in a crash with a pickup truck in the Hoffman Bluffs area west of Chase. The accident happened just before noon and road conditions were not icy at the time. Kennedy died at the scene.
The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate.
