Four cars at dealership shot full of holes

KAMLOOPS – Four new cars at a Kamloops dealership were found riddled with bullets early Monday morning leaving police to plead for help from the public.

RCMP Staff Sgt. Grant Learned says a security guard near Sun Country Toyota on Cariboo Place heard gunshots in the Hillside Drive area just west of the dealership between 5:10 and 5:15 a.m. When police investigated, they found four damaged cars. After a detailed search, they found bullet casings on the edge of an embankment off Hillside Dr. behind the dealership.

Police also recovered some bullets from the cars but wouldn't say how many nor how many casings they found. If you saw anything, you are asked to call Kamloops RCMP or Crimestoppers.
