Canadian-born tight end Luke Willson spent eight seasons in NFL

Former NFL player Luke Willson returns to the Super Bowl on Sunday as an analyst with TSN. A sketch:

Hometown: LaSalle, Ont.

NFL career: Drafted by Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round, No 158 overall, of the 2013 NFL draft. Played eight seasons as a tight end with Seattle (2013-17, 2019-20), Detroit (2018) and Baltimore (2020).

Statistics: Willson had 111 catches for 1,307 yards with 11 TDs in 102 career games (52 starts).

Super Bowls: Appeared in two with Seattle, winning once (43-8 over Denver in 2014). The Seahawks lost 28-24 to New England in the Super Bowl the following season.

College: Rice University.

CFL: Selected in the fifth round, No. 32 overall, of the 2012 CFL draft by the Toronto Argonauts but never played football professionally in Canada.
